General/Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges)/Dredging From: 2024-12-31 To: 2025-01-31 Location: 34.86649° N / 76.69079° W 34.84549° N / 76.68892° W 34.84536° N / 76.69015° W 34.86644° N / 76.69224° W 34.86649° N / 76.69079° W Southwind Construction Corporation will conduct hydraulic Dredging in Adams Creek near Newport, Carteret North Carolina. Dredging to begin December 31, 2024, with a completion date of January 31, 2025. Work will be conduct 24 hours a day, 7days a week. Dredge Wilko, workboats Ann Kay and Danny Joe will monitor VHF-FM Channels 13 & 16. Submerged and floating pipeline associated with dredging operation; use extreme caution in the area. Mariners are urged to transit at the slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. Pipeline and vessels will be visibly lit and marked pursuant to Coast Guard regulations. Submerged pipeline will be positioned parallel along the channel.
