NJ: Barnegat Bay High Bar Harbor, Dredging

General/Marine Construction (Excluding Bridges)/Dredging Location: 39.77338° N / 74.12327° W 39.77198° N / 74.12445° W 39.77045° N / 74.12531° W 39.76884° N / 74.12558° W 39.76105° N / 74.12375° W Mariners are advised that H&L Contracting LLC will be conducting hydraulic dredging operations inside Barnegat Inlet in Barnegat Bay High Bar Harbor from 12/05/2024 to 01/15/2025. Work hours are 24 hours a day (daylight), 7 days a week. There will be the hydraulic dredge FINN, multiple tugboats, barges in the area. A dredge pipeline will run from the dredge to a placement area near Barnegat Lighthouse. The pipeline will be marked and lighted in accordance with regulations. All work will be outside of but near navigational channel. All mariners are advised to reduce speed to minimum for making way while in the vicinity of dredging operations. All marine equipment operators will be monitoring VHF-FM Channel 65 and Channels 16 and 13. Work vessels will monitor Channel 13 and 16. Mariners are advised to proceed with caution when transiting the area.
