From 01 Oct 2024 to 30 Nov 2024 the King Company will be dredging the Holland Inner Harbor. Hours of operation are 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Submerged dredge pipe will lie on the lake floor, marked by orange round buoys every 500 feet. (2) white buoys will be seen North and South of the dredge. The white buoys indicate winch anchor locations. The disposal is in the city's CDF upriver from the federal channel. The primary contact will be the Superintendent Joseph Martin. His cell number is listed below. During rough seas, our pipe pontoon will be floating outside of the channel. It is bright yellow, 25'x8'x6' and has (2) flashing lights on each end that come on at night. From N. River Ave. Bridge to the west, a floating pipe will be utilized to make it upriver to the placement area. This pipe will also be marked every 500' with orange buoys.
