Lake Champlain: North Hero Island, RT 2 Bridge, Construction

Demolition and construction work on the VT Route 2 bridge between North Hero Island and South Alburg, VT will
be conducted from March 29 through October 11, 2023. During this time, the vertical clearance of the bridge will be reduced by 1.5 feet and the horizontal clearance will be reduced by 8.7 feet. Work will be conducted during daylight hours only Monday through Saturday. Two barges and attending workboats will be on scene conducting the demolition and repair work. Workboats can be contacted on VHF Channel 13 to arrange passage if needed. The on-scene superintendent for the Kubricky Construction Company is
