FL: New Smyrna Beach, Canal Bradano, bridge replacement

Gosalia Concrete Constructors on behalf of the bridge owner, FDOT will be conducting the demolition, removal and replacement of the Barracuda Blvd Bridge and approaching seawalls over Canal Bradano in New Smyrna beginning January 11, 2023. The canal will be flagged closed as the existing bridge is removed until summer of 2023. Boat traffic will be stopped for approximately 5 minutes at a time as bridge pieces are lifted away by crane.
