LA: GIWW Mile 14.2 EHL, Navigation Obstructions - UPDATE

Recent surveys conducted by the USACE for the submerged obstruction(s) previously reported with the outer edge starting approximately 100 ft south of the centerline/sail line of the channel, near GIWW, Mile 14.9, EHL, on April 18, 2024, have failed to locate it. The multiple submerged mooring dolphins reported in the vicinity of GIWW, Mile 14.9, EHL, are located outside of the navigable channel in the following approximate positions:

Mariners are urged to exercise caution, transit the area at their slowest safe speed and in the deepest areas of the channel. Mariners are urged NOT to push/moor up to the banks in these areas, due to uncharted submerged obstructions.
