Due to low Lake Okeechobee water levels, the chamber lock gates were open, allowing vessels to come and go freely.

The entrance to the lock is immediately off the canal and is a super small lock. Beyond it is Roland Martin Marina along an equally narrow canal but there is a turn around basin.

We got stuck at the lock but were able to back out. The lock is not operating as of last night. We rafted onto the fence inside the staging wall at the gate. They tried repairing it but need more time.
