Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 46'
Draft: 6.3'CAREFUL! The channel is very shallow on the western side once you pass the lock. We got stuck in four feet of water for a while. We tried using the center, the port side and the starboard side. Luckily, Mother Nature was on our side as it was raining heavily, and we were able to plow through using our bow thruster (and my husband's incredible maneuvering.) We tried to get help from the dock master, but we were told that it was not their problem. We politely asked them to dredge this part out as soon as they got the chance so that fellow boaters would not get stuck like we did.
