Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 46'
Draft: 4.5'Comment is on earlier review. We locked through 4 days later and used the West wall (RDB) going down. Many leaks and waterfalls (mainly through the manhole covers halfway down) East wall appeared to be without large leaks. We recommend using east wall (LDB)

Vessel Type: Power
LOA: 45'
Draft: 3.0'We locked through on October 26. Impressive lock with the 80 foot drop. Note: lots of water showering down on the east lock wall. You will get wet. We were told that was the dry side. It was not. Recommend tying up on the west wall.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 43'
Draft: 5.5'The dockmaster was professional and courteous. They responded promptly to my hails in spite of being busy with a commercial tow coming through in the other direction. While I don't think that there is anything slower in the universe than a laden towboat coming out of a Tenn-Tom lock, once the way was clear, my lift was a quick, comfortable ride to the top.
