The Canadian city of Sarnia is directly across the St. Clair River from Port Huron. U.S. pleasure boats heading up Lake Huron for Georgian Bay or the North Channel often make Sarnia their point of entry into Canada. Clearing through here makes cruising up the Canadian side of the lake much easier.
