Noteworthy: | This at the eastern-most end of the harbor. It is suitable for dinghies and small boats (less than 20'). The ferries use this on a frequent basis and so the head is reserved for them. A stern anchor is advisable and one should expect the need to avoid the rodes of those already deployed. Less than 100 yards to the northeast, along the north side of the St. James Methodist Church, is a walkover to a picturesque beach. South of this dock you will mainly find residences--nearly all of the businesses and shoppes in Hope Town lie to the north along or within a block of the waterfront. |
