Lock walls some of the worst on the New York Canal System. Tie up east (preferred) or west of lock on south wall. Canal park west of lock. Portable toilets, but there are two water spigots for filling your tanks. To get to town go south ¼ mile on route 350 to Route 31 and turn east where you will find convenience store, pizzeria, gas station and sub shop. A total of ¾ miles east from lock you will find a strip mall on Route 31 with McDonalds, bank, movie, and restaurant.
