The draw of the Seaboard System Railroad bridge, mile 12.0 near Drayton Hall, shall open on signal from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., the draw shall open on signal if at least three hours notice is given. CSX phone 800-232-0144

Draft: 1.5'Navigated this section of the Ashley River for the first time. Note that approaching the bridge from the Charleston side, there is no information sign visible, only from the Dayton Hall side. According to the sign, this is referred to as the Drayton Draw Bridge. The sign says opening on signal…. Horn blast? Single? Double? No VHF channel monitored. The bridge tender must've seen us, because eventually the bridge opened and we could pass underneath.
