Draft: 5.0'Called for fifteen minutes. No answer. Got to the bridge one minute after the hour. Lady said she saw us coming but didn't hear me. Made me wait thirty minutes.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 33'
Draft: 5.0'Traveling North, we easily made distance to prior bridge, Donald Ross, from PGA, 3.3 miles, however, this bridge at 3.1 miles from Donald Ross we did not make. Donald Ross is a slow opening bridge so be prepared to hustle to Indian town to make it in 30 minutes, or relax and travel the distance in an hour.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 40'
Draft: 4.2'The bridge master at the the Indian Town Road Bascule Bridge on the morning of May 8th could have kept the bridge open, we were right at it but he refused. As we sat by the bridge fighting the current watching the other vessels go through they made their feelings known with a few choice words for him and how he did the same thing to them. Closing the bridge while a sailboat is at the bridge struggling with the tide and making them wait 30 minutes is just wrong, sadist. Watch this bridge sailors and be prepared to sit 30 minutes even though you’re already there waiting.
