- Description:
This anchorage does not appear to be associated with the Boomtown Casino, but it is right next-door to it. We found the entrance to this Anchorage to be about 8 feet of water. The inside depth is between 10 and 12 feet of water. There is good protection from waves. Some protection from south east and north winds. We didn't notice any wake from the barges going by in the ICW. The other descriptions for this anchorage seem accurate.

In 6-12 kts of wind the holding is excellent. I would expect good holding in higher winds with a bit more anchor rode. It looks like there’s probably enough room in here for five or six boats so it’s a small anchorage area. There was no one here when we

Really not any. It is surrounded by a grassy embankment on three sides, but I wouldn’t want to walk through there for concern for snakes. You could dinghy over to the casino.
