- Description:
The anchorage is below a headland on the SW side of Cave Cay which forms a shallow bay. There is good protection from winds between NE and SE, however the water is shallow, and the holding is soft. In settled conditions the anchorage is a good place to wait for a transit of Galliot Cut. Cave Cay is a private island and going ashore is frowned upon.
