Mermaid Reef is a favorite snorkeling spot that is just outside of the entrance to Marsh Harbour. The reef is marked by a series of small buoys and boaters who want to dive on the reef should anchor east or west of the buoys. Do not get too close to the reef as the bottom is scoured and your anchor will not be set properly.
