- Description:
There are a few mooring balls inside the park that are suitable for vessels up to about 24’ to use for dropping swimmers off to explore the nearby coral heads.
It is a sensitive area and vessels should avoid using their own ground tackle within the park boundaries to protect the grass beds and fledgling coral.
The best anchorage is just along the park boundary, which runs ~100 yards south of the line of small cays between Fowl Cay in the west and Fishhawk Cay in the east.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
