• Description:

  Established anchorage with several long-term boats, adjacent to the Sarasota Sailing Squadron base and a city park. Mote Marine Lab & Aquarium is also located here on the northern tip of Lido Key. There are a couple of old-Florida style restaurants on the other side of the peninsula just before the bridge over New Pass. Good protection from S to N winds and the shoals to the east help moderate waves/wakes from the E. St. Armands Circle is accessible by dinghy, and the excellent sailing grounds of Sarasota Bay are adjacent.
