- Description:
This location is a well hidden area. We approached it from the middle and anchored right in the center. It is surrounded by tall trees all around except from the North. The current seems to come from the North as well. Unless you are having strong winds from any direction other than North, you will be facing North. Our boat swing a bit within 45 degrees, but it didn't bother us enough to use a stern anchor. It is tedious to get to this location due to the low water levels. Just follow the markers and you will be okay. It is right next to the Barkley Lake State Park Resort. They have a nice a variety of amenities (that we didn't use) it is also 1/2 mile away from the Lake Barkley Marina which has fuel, water, pump out, a store a much more.
NOTE: Lake Barkley stage 354.7'.
