Cape May Harbor (Coast Guard Station)
- Location: Cape May Harbor
- Lat / Lon: N 38° 56.941' / W 074° 53.607'
- Depth: 5 feet
- Description:
This is a shoal-draft anchorage only. You may see as little as 4' at low tide. We anchored here when the other anchorages nearby were full. Not a bad spot with decent holding. Rolled on a few wakes, mostly from commercial fishermen who seem to not abide by the no-wake zones in the area and seem to kind of relish giving transient boaters a "ride" on the hook. The coast guard station is a "training" station, so we got to enjoy the bugle calls to end and start the day. Fun stuff!
