Sore Thumb Anchorage

  August 3 2022 Came in after a long day on ocean with buddy boat. We called Boat US for advise on entering the inlet and anchorage. We came in around low slack tide. Boat US advised us to follow the markers but to stay 150' W of R6A and R6. You can see the breakers and shallow spots. Also advised to stay to our port when coming into Sore Thumb entrance as it shoals to your starboard on entering. a good number of boats anchored here for the day, but not to many at night. Good holding
