Green Turtle Cay - Joyless Point
- Location: Abaco

- Depth: 7 - 10 feet
- Tide: 2.0'-2.5'
- Description:
Joyless Point anchorage is an open roadstead that offers protection from north thru east winds but is wide open to the S and W. In settled conditions it is a viable alternative to the settlement anchorage as it is generally less busy.
The anchorage is popular with boaters who are waiting for the correct tide to enter White Sound or to take their dinghy over to the Bluff House Beach Club which is located on the north end of the anchorage. Since Dorian the Beach Club is in disrepair, but it remains a convenient place to go ashore and walk up to the Bluff House for dinner. Be prepared to move if the winds shift into the south as the anchorage can become very choppy. The holding is very good in clear sand.
