Of all the anchorages at Great Sale, this is the only anchorage that offers some degree of cell service from the tower at Grand Cay. For that reason alone it will be attractive to many crews in settled weather. Located off the northwest side of Great Sale there is good protection from east through south and acceptable protection from northeast through east in winds under 20 kts. If there are northeast winds above 20 kts the anchorage in North West Harbour is a better choice.
