  Head south from GIWW aiming for a point midway between G59 and G17. Feel your way in and drop your hook as close to the shoal area as you feel comfortable. Large shoal area just west of Destin Channel offers spectacular swimming on an incoming tide. White sand and clear water most of the time. Lots of boats on weekends, not all of them operating safely.
