Alabaster Bay (South)
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 15.599' / W 076° 19.241'
- Depth: 5 meters
- Description:
A beautiful cove with excellent protection from easterlies. Very good in SE. We found lots of good sand for anchoring, and you can get fairly close to the beach before it drops rapidly to less than 3 feet at low tide. This is a quiet area with only one small beach resort. Locals do come to swim as the beach is fantastic. Fine sand with few rocks. Lots of beautiful shells. You can walk across to the old US Navy Ruins. It's an interesting piece of history worth exploring. For pictures of the anchorage and the US Navy ruins visit https://www.facebook.com/100063618668322/posts/395873002543319/
