- Description:
Anchor on the west side. Well protected anchorage from most directions. Weekends, a few party boats but they leave when it gets dark. The bottom appeared to be a sand/mud mix, 8' depth. We held firm in a 20k wind. A few large 100' yachts joined us for the evening. Great view of Miami and cruise ships. It was heavily Policed, so you didn't get a lot of boats making wakes in the area. The tour boats do come by, no issues with then. A good place to anchor and still explore Miami
