Whitney Bay, Drummond Island

  • Lat / Lon: N 45° 57.964' / W 083° 51.885'
  • Description:

    One and one-half miles east of DeTour Reef Light, head north-northwest from red nun 2 until the deep-water passage between Arnold and Bellevue Islands opens up. Pass midway between the two islands into the bay. If upbound on the St. Marys River, you need not go all the way to the nun. Head for it on a course from Crab Island Shoal lighted bell buoy, and when passage between the two islands opens abeam, turn in. Anchor depending on wind.
