Cayo Siju Inside

- Description: In the event of a frontal passage, there is good protection in this lagoon, which is behind a small mangrove cayo that lies just off the northwest end of Cayo Siju. The entrance is protected by a triangular-shaped bar that is tricky to negotiate and only shallow-draft vessels or vessels with crews who are highly confident of their ability to self-extricate from a soft grounding should attempt it.
