• Description: Since March 13, 2016, Miami Beach has been enforcing an ordinance that limits anchoring to 7 days. A 2016 Florida Law will prohibit overnight anchoring in Sunset Lake starting July 1, 2016, with some exceptions. Dinghy access: Publix dinghy dock, boat ramp dock (20 min. max). "Tow Away" signs have been posted along much of the Collins Canal, and towing has been enforced.
