- Description:
Follow Esopus Creek back to the rock face on the northern side of the creek, past Lynchs Marina. Do not go beyond this point as the creek gets shallow fast and has a rock bottom. Avoid the southern side of the creek at this point, as there is a sand bar built up there. Use of fore and aft anchor allows 3 or 4 vessels room to anchor in this protected spot. This anchorage provides excellent protection from strong winds and storms.
