Selden Creek

- Description: Large boats have little room to move around. Depths, however, run from 9 to 13 feet at MLW in the lower reaches and 3 to 4 feet at MLW in the upper, where the creek runs into Selden Cove, with its shallow channel, back to the Connecticut River.

A visit up Selden Creek is a marvelous trip in the dinghy. Watch out for tree stumps as you go. American boats hid here from British raiders during the Revolutionary War.
