Navesink River
- Location: Sandy Hook Bay Highlands
- Lat / Lon: N 40° 23.040' / W 073° 59.400'
- Depth: 4-10 ft
- Description:
Just past Upper Rocky Point, turn to starboard, and head back east up the old channel of the Navesink River. Make the turn well to the west of red nun buoy 10 to clear the shoal, then favor the north shore. You can stop in 4 to 10-foot deep water under a high bluff. A small island protects you from wakes without stopping the breeze. If you plan to swim, trail a line overboard. The current is strong at maximum flood and ebb. Cell signal available.
