Shroud Cay Moorings
- Location: Northern Exuma
- Lat / Lon: N 24° 31.845' / W 076° 47.804'
- Depth: 7'-10'
- Tide: 2.5'-3.0'
- Description:
There are 14 mooring balls that are available on a first-come, first-served basis located south of a rocky point that juts out from the southern half of Shroud Cay. In prevailing easterly conditions there will be less swell than in the north anchorage, but the mooring field is not immune as the winds rise above 15 knots. When it is calm, however, the views from the mooring field are very pretty and on especially calm days you might even be lucky enough to spot an elusive green flash at sunset.
Mooring fee based on vessel size, beginning at $27.27 plus VAT.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
