Big Gaulding Cay
- Location: Berry Islands
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 36.224' / W 077° 44.283'
- Depth: 6'-9'
- Tide: 2.5'-3.0'
- Description:
Most of Big Gaulding Cay is surrounded by shallow sand, but in the lee of the extreme southern end of the Cay a deeper-drafted vessel can find a spot to drop anchor. There is surprisingly good protection from wind and current at the south end of Big Gaulding Cay and in prevailing conditions the anchorage is as calm as any other in the area. The anchorage is a good choice for vessels seeking to exit via White Cay cut, but you must wait for the appropriate tide to do so.
