Little Harbour Cay North
- Location: Berry Islands
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 35.376' / W 077° 43.610'
- Depth: 6'-8' Feet
- Tide: 2.5'-3.0'
- Description:
There are two moorings that have been installed by the owners of Flo’s Conch Shack at the north end of Little Harbour Cay to accommodate their own vessels. If a ball is empty be sure to contact Flo’s on VHF 68 before attempting to use it. Chester Darville, the owner of Flo's, advises that the balls have not been maintained. Anchor north of the moorings to ensure that you do not bounce off the bottom on a falling tide. The reward for getting it right is to find your boat floating in a nursery of sharks and turtles. In the prevailing east and southeast winds, the anchorage is a pretty place to spend the night but one would not want to be in this anchorage if a cold front is expected as it is completely exposed to the west. A falling tide against a west wind is not a good combination.
